In this new edition of The Sims, has promised a much improved graphics with smooth animations, lights and shadows. You will simply be drawn even more into simmernes world than in previous versions.
There has also made a really interesting Rewards system where you can improve your Sim even more than before .. Eg. you can get your a “steel bladder” so you do not need the toilet.

In addition, EA has worked hard to create an improved editor to customize your sim.

Cheat codes

CTRL + Shift + C codes

testingcheatsenabled true – Here you can enable you to test the cheat codes. Eg. you can SHIFT + click on a sim or such. a mailbox

help – Lists all possible commands.

move objects on / off – With this ON, you can move all the stuff you like, incl. Sims in your Buy / Build mode.

kaching – While you are at one reason you will get $ 1,000.

motherlode – While you are at one reason you will get $ 50,000.

fullscreen on / off – switch between fullscreen and windowed mode.

unlockOutfits on / off – Opens for clothes / sets the CAS (Create a Sim) mode. This must be activated before you go into CAS.

drums Objects [on / off] – This will objects fade in or out as cameras become closer.

slowMotionViz <level> – Play the game in slow motion. Optional value, 0 = normal speed, pg 8 = slowest speed.

hideHeadlineEffects [on / off] – Saves all meters and effects in the game, such as plumbbob and skill meters.

disableSnappingToSlotsOnAlt [on / off] – If this is set to On, objects do not “snap” to the fields while holding down the Alt key.

Removal of censorship
To remove game censorship when Sims bathe or similar., You must download a file. Before downloading, you must remember to take a backup of the file Shaders_Win32 located in C: Program Files Electronic Arts The Sims 3 Game Bin. Then download this file, Censor Remover, open the folder, copy the file Shaders_Win32 and replace it with the current Shaders_Win32 in the C: Program Files Electronic Arts The Sims 3 Game Bin. Censorship is now disabled.

Posted by Line – For those who can not open the console with CTRL + SHIFT + C:
For those of you who have trouble getting up when the console press ctrl + shift + c is here a possible solution. I had, in fact even the problem (works both on sims 2 and sims 3). I found out that the problem existed in that I have an HP computer running with Vista. The problem was that with HP follows a small program called HP Health Check, and shortcut key to make it appear is Ctrl + Shift + C (which is also the one you should use the Sims to get the chat box).
Solution:
1. Go into Start.
2. Search “HP Health Check”
3. Right-click on it.
4. Go down under Properties.
5. Tab “Shortcut”
6. Change the “Hotkey”.
7. Press Apply and then OK.
